Does it replace our case management system?
No. It's a pre-intake triage layer. Works alongside Clio, LEAP, Proclaim, Smokeball, or any system. Copy the extracted facts and use them however you already work.
What about our SRA and data-handling duties?
CaseSift is a tool to assist intake — you remain responsible for client communications and case-acceptance decisions. Your Claude API key stays in your browser. No CaseSift server sees the contents of the emails you triage. Full details in the privacy policy.
Do I need a Claude API key?
Yes. CaseSift uses your own Claude API key (get one at console.anthropic.com). You pay Anthropic directly — typically around £0.01 per triage. This keeps your data out of our servers.
What happens if I go over my monthly triage cap?
Extension stops triaging until the next month or you upgrade. Free tier resets every 1st of the month.
Does it work with Outlook?
Not yet. Gmail only for v1. Outlook is planned if there's demand — email us if you'd use it.
How accurate is the viability score?
It's a triage indicator, not a determination. Think of it as a paralegal's first pass. Every score comes with the factors that drove it so you can sanity-check quickly. You make the final call.
